The contract signing ceremony for the Project of Lesotho Parliament Building funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China was held on June 8, 2007 in Maseru, capital of the Kingdom of Lesotho. The contract was signed by Mr. Principal Secretary of Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lesotho and Mr. Yu Chunyang, General Manger of International Economic & Technical Cooperation Company of Yanjian Group Co., Ltd. signed the Contract on behalf of two sides respectively. The total construction area of the 5-storey building is 7116.6 square meters and the contract price of the Project is RMB Yuan 59 million and the construction period is 20 months. Yanjian Group Co., Ltd. is the General contractor of the Project.
It is expected that the Project would be officially commenced in about 4 months.
